Leaders in LISD!

LMS Social Studies teachers Cathie McMahan & Justin Houser, and LISD Math, Science & Social Studies Coordinator Christy Barnett presented at the Texas Council for the Social Studies in Round Rock over the weekend. The TXCSS provides opportunities for professional growth, leadership & collaboration for geography, history, government, economics, & civics teachers. Cathie and Christy's presentation was on connecting learning objectives to project-based activities, which is an effort to help history teachers move "beyond the worksheet." We are so thankful for these two natural-born educators and leaders. We appreciate what you do and what you will do for LISD and educating our youngsters! You're in the right place!
