Robotics Teams in Top 10!

LISD celebrates two teams from Levelland Middle School's Robotics that are currently in the top 10 after trial run submission. Teams built and coded their LEGO EV3 robot to run on the game board and collect as many points as possible in under two minutes. Trial run videos were recorded and submitted before spring break. Team 1 collected 80 points placing 6th in the region. Team 2 collected 70 points placing 10th in the region. There are 45 middle schools competing across West Texas in Texas Tech's Get Excited About Robotics competition this year. A middle school may only submit scores from their top 4 groups. Teams have 2 more video submissions in April and we look forward to seeing the outcome for LMS! Congratulations to these kids who are doing great things at LMS!
