CTE Month: Technology Applications Class

As we are visiting LISD campuses, we are finding many CTE courses to celebrate! Today we found LMS 8th-graders in Mrs. Holly McGinnis' Technology Applications Class. They are finishing up a big project they've been studying this month! They are completing a graphic design using shapes in Microsoft. Mrs. McGinnis says, "this is one of their most favorite things my students do during the year." Students get to use their own creativity to design a butterfly using shapes by changing their size and color, showing texture and space, and showing symmetry while completing the design rubric assigned. They will finish up and then present their designs to the class. This LMS Technology Applications class is certainly one that will benefit students to be 21st-century learners!
