CTE Month: Cooking Breakfast

LISD continues focusing on our CTE courses offered and we caught more LHS students in Mrs. Melissa Young's CTEd cooking class.  These students collaborate with each other to prepare a breakfast meal each day. They read the recipe and follow directions, hoping for a good outcome.  The real test is that they eat their own food, and today they made French Toast Sausage Rollups! Students learn the fun part of cooking, but they also learn kitchen sanitation as well. Mastering these skills will enable students to hold down a job in a restaurant after high school!  Thank you, Mrs. Young and Burt, for your loving guidance in giving students a career choice.
