National History Day Work on Saturday

Levelland Middle School students in Mrs. Cathie McMahan's National History Day class gave up their Saturday to turn in submissions for February's Virtual Regional Contest.  This Year's 2021 theme is Communication: The Key To Understanding.  The NHD students have been researching and preparing since September! More than half a million students participate annually.  Students in the NHD class learn critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, research and reading skills, and build self-esteem and confidence while developing the necessary 21st-century skills needed for success after high school. LISD and LMS send kudos to Mrs. McMahan for her leadership in making these kids think like historians!
