LIFE Grants Given

Well the LIFE Foundation did it again! LIFE gave eleven Levelland ISD educators monetary grants totaling $5,662.71 today. LIFE donates money to LISD teachers to make their out-of-the-box ideas come to fruition. LMS Music Director Joshua Ballard (not pictured) will have money to purchase new choir uniforms! LMS Librarian Mixie Clowe will add Oculus Technology to the library. Olivia Magee will receive new microscopes for investigative science labs, and Missy Passmore will be able to purchase items for her Career Prep Class. These projects are amazing and wouldn't be possible without The LIFE Foundation! We thank LIFE for helping to fill our classrooms with these projects that keep our students ahead of the learning curve! LIFE operates solely on donations and fundraisers. If you would like to help out students and teachers, you can make a LIFE donation at City Bank or Hockley County School Employees Credit Union. Thank you to Lillian Northcutt for bringing the cheerleaders, to Mr. Evan Seidel for bringing the drumline, to Superintendent McCutchen, and to the LIFE Board for helping to make these grants a "big deal."
