Random Act of Kindness!

Rylee Rackler, a 7th-grade student from Levelland Middle School, has only ever wanted one thing in life: To move at the same pace as her peers. Rylee has Friedreich's Ataxia, which can make moving around more difficult for her. She has been using a walker for most of this school year. However, if you've ever ventured into the halls of any middle school, you'll know that makes traveling an event for her. She can continuously be seen roaming the halls at her fierce pace trying to keep up. Over the weekend a blessing arose from a teacher's home church. The First United Methodist Church Ministry in Artesia, NM graciously donated an electric scooter and transport chair for Rylee, free of charge. Rylee received this blessing while surrounded by her mom, dad, and her LMS family. Now she can be found zipping through the hallways faster than her peers, with a giant smile on her face. Now she can more than keep up with her peers, she can outpace them! It's Random Acts of Kindness Day and this was the perfect Random Act! Thank you LMS & First United Methodist Church Ministry from Artesia, for making this child's life better! (Story courtesy LMS teacher Jean DeMerritt)
