GEAR Team to Compete!

LMS is excited about Robotics! LMS GEAR students in Mrs. Rejino and Mr. Daniel's classes attended a GEAR trial run at Lubbock High. They participated in a trial meet to prepare the students on what a real meet will feel like on Game Day, scheduled for April 23rd at Lubbock High. Students ran their Robot 3 rounds in under 2 minutes and collected points on the Moonpost 2022 course. The task is for students are to clear new construction sites of debris, unload cargo from the spaceship & deliver it to a construction site, clear new construction sites of debris, move a newly completed crew habitat to its permanent location, and much more. One LMS team scored the highest for the meet during one of the rounds with 195 points. Good Luck to them as they prepare the following weeks for game day! You're in the right place!
