Mrs. Rejino and 3 LMS Digital Divas attended a virtual workshop, "Digital Divas 2022" & recently received their swag from Computer Science Teachers Association. Students heard from keynote speaker Kendall Roden, a senior project manager for Microsoft. She expressed her struggles in Tech, from college to professional life. The digital divas learned Python's programming computer language during the workshop from high school students in Irving, Texas. There were some struggles and successes that day, but it was rewarding when connections were made. Mrs. Rejino states, "I observed some light bulbs come on, which is what learning is all about. The rubber duck the digital divas received represents "rubber duck debugging." Coders keep a rubber duck on their desk to have someone to talk out code with. It helps programmers talk it out with the rubber duck." Wow, what an opportunity for these girls! thank you, Mrs. Rejino for always leading your students forward! You're in the right place!
